Őri Kiss Botond is a pianist and composer who graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. He creates a unique soundscape by fusing contemporary classical music with electronic elements.
His debut solo studio album, Music for Left & Right, balances between tradition and innovation, situated at the intersection of contemporary classical and modern electronic music. It offers an intimate musical journey with a precisely crafted arc from beginning to end. The compositions are written for piano and the iconic Fender Rhodes, a hallmark instrument of the ’70s and ’80s. At key dramaturgical moments, the balanced interplay of these two instruments is complemented by electronics and glockenspiel, adding a modern and distinctive sonic character.
