LUMIERE HALL X TEREZA: A NIGHT WITH FRIDA

An evening where Frida Kahlo’s world comes to life - with lights, flavors, and stories

Lumiere Hall and Tereza restaurant pay tribute to Frida Kahlo’s art with a unique, one-time, and unrepeatable event. This time, the exhibition space offers more than just a visual experience - it takes you on a gastronomic journey: an exclusive, candlelit dinner where art comes alive on the walls, a carefully curated Mexican menu, and an intimate atmosphere merge into one unforgettable experience.

FRIDA KAHLO: THE MIRROR OF PASSION, PAIN, AND STRENGTH

Frida Kahlo was not just a painter. She was a phenomenon. A revolution. A living work of art. Her life and art were intertwined, and her paintings became imprints of her soul - honest, deeply emotional creations that still speak to us with the same intensity today as they did in her time.

Now, through this immersive dinner experience, we step into her world: vibrant colors, mesmerizing projections, and the essence of Mexican cuisine come together to create an atmosphere where we can truly feel the power of Frida’s art.

MENU

  • Homemade nachos with tomatillo salsa and chipotle salsa;

  • Azteca soup with avocado, jalapeño, lime, and cilantro;

  • Red tuna ceviche with raspberries, celery, and pomegranate;

  • Share taco: Corn tortilla with beef cheek and lamb shoulder, fermented radish, honey-jalapeño tomato, avocado salsa, and roasted garlic salsa;

  • Mexican flan with prickly pear and guava.

Live music will accompany the dinner, and amidst the projected lights, for a brief moment, we too become part of Frida’s world.

If there's one event you don't want to miss this year, it's this one!

Afrikora Lamine

Lamine, originally from Senegal and a member of the renowned Sissoho griot family, is both a guardian and an innovator of West African musical traditions. The kora, a 21-string traditional Mandinka instrument, beautifully blends ancient melodies with contemporary musical elements. Lamine’s art is more than music – it’s a journey into the world of West African storytelling and sound.

What to Expect?

A unique fusion of two extraordinary instruments: the melodic tones of the handpan and the timeless yet contemporary sounds of the kora. The evening offers not only a rich musical experience but also a visual feast, as the performance is complemented by Lumiere Hall’s captivating exhibition. Together, they create an unforgettable atmosphere where sound and vision align.
